~ Writer's Note ~

I have been inspired by @onigiri_olo_  art for a very long time. Acknowledging his work from a distance with inspiring curiosity. I finally reached out to the Japanese artist to discuss a possible collaboration. Surprisingly, I learned that he had only started to illustrate his sketches during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

After many subtle, inquires he graciously accepted my offer to write an Ekphrastic Tanka poem to one of his touching pieces.
