[THOUGHTS]

` promises ` was inspired by a remembrance of a time of innocence; a time way before discovering those addictive desires simmering in my soul; a time when I should've been telling myself to "Always remember me this way". (Lady Gaga - 2018)

All I ever really wanted was to feel that innocence once again. Like a time before this promise of sobriety tricked my spirit into sayin' you'll be okay with one more last ride on that train of euphoric addiction.

With each lapeses of a judgement, with each fall off the proverbial wagon, there was always a promise of sobriety accompanying a simple innocence begging to be remembered.

Now as I reminisce, It was just a time of addiction; a time of  promised sobriety; a time of stolen innocence —
